Sketch of a smiling boy

This kid is probably six or seven. He turned out older in the sketch, with a slimmer face and less plumpness in his cheeks. Also, the tilt of the face was more extreme in the original photo.

Angry girl

The original photograph is almost as gender ambiguous as the sketch turned out. Sketching smooth skin is very difficult as there's no pathways to help connect the subject's features. This young girl looks angry and cheated in the original photo.

Old African Woman

This woman was present at some sort of religious ceremony. Her features are just as pronounced in the original photograph as they are in the sketch. I didn't completely capture the skin texture.

Squinting bishop

This subject looks a little mean spirited in the photograph from which the sketch was made. In reality, the squint is likely from the bright sun which the sketch failed to capture.

Jewish woman

This sketch is from a photograph my father took while visiting Israel. The woman pictured was speaking with a Rabbi or some sort of other religious leader.

Pontiff Masquerade

This is a sketch of a woman (my drawing makes her look more like a man) who is masquerading as some sort of religious leader.
