Acting in a dragon movie

Acting in a movie as the first mate of a flying pirate ship. There is some sort of transport technology wherein you scan a credit card in port, then say the name of the next port you want to go to. Not everyone has access, in fact it is sort of top secret.

Our first destination was New York, then maybe Bangkok. After scanning a card in port, it seems a dragon attacks as the ship leaves. It's huge.

The first time it doesn't threaten me personally much. The key is not to get separated from everyone else, but to stay in groups and evade that way. The second dragon manages to single me out, but when he's almost got me he doesn't eat me. The port to port technology is too valuable, he says.

I have my hands on his mouth when it looks like he's going to eat me. The sensation is vivid, like holding a dog's wet muzzle.

In port, some other crew members talk about how I'd been repeating myself earlier. Saying the same things over and over. They applaud me for this. I admit that I've only been playing the role for the second half of the movie. They are stunned, somehow.
